The meeting/talk is about the history of the Slavs, but also about the forests and wildernesses surrounding their settlements. We will tell about trees, important plants, animal species. What did the mythical tur look like? Are bears dangerous? Did our ancestors breed cats?
How did they make fire in ancient times? What was wood used for? What can be made from bark? What is bast and how to make string out of it?
During the meeting we present colorful photographs depicting ancient primeval forests, but also replicas of archaeological finds depicting the life of our ancestors.
The meetings are led by Michal Ostry Ostrowski, an experienced animator and popularizer of history and nature.
The presenter, using modern techniques, will be dressed in the costume of a Piast hunter!
